Competitiveness Plan for the Mendoza Nutfruit Cluster

The Mendoza Nutfruit Cluster was a public-private initiative financed by the IDB, in which the national and provincial governments and other public agencies, such as IDR, Iscamen, INTA, INTI and UNCuyo articulated, with the active participation of the industry leaders. The projects in this strategic plan were carried out between 2016 and 2017, and allowed the efforts of many actors in the value chain to be brought together and gave the initial push for the birth of the Mendoza Nutfruit Association.

Walnut Business Plan

Within the framework of the Competitiveness Plan, this market research and business plan for walnuts was presented in 2016 and 2017, both for domestic consumption and for export.

Nutfruit farm and processing equipment survey, in Argentina.

Within the Federal Council of Nuts, it was carried out the survey about equipment availability for the different stages of growing and post-harvesting of nutfruits in Argentina. A self-propelled prototype was proposed for harvesting in small-scale establishments.
